How we use your data on the website and Facebook

Storing of images/illustrations/photographs and designs

 

As a freelance creative I assume that when you commission me to design/illustrate/write/photograph that in doing business you expect the following of my service:

  • To store your images/designs information on my back-up system securely

  • To contact you by phone and email or social media with information requests

  • I need to hold your invoice details for 7 years for UK tax reasons

  • Your images and emails are stored on the iCloud with Apple Inc.

  • Images/illustrations/designs and work I do for you are stored on a secure hard drive and backup media such as DVD disks for archive purposes and for retrieval of future jobs you may commission

  • When taking photographs at events and weddings and school events I store your jobs on disk and hard drive, if you no longer wish me to do this you will be given a disk of images. I will then destroy all data and you will not have a backup

  • I assume as a photographer you have given permission and the persons in the images are happy for me to photograph
    and use your photographs for said purpose

  • Only the copyright owner WS Artus will have access to your jobs and images

  • As the copyright owner I have the right to use said images and work for promotion purposes and print and marketing media

  • If you do not wish us to store your jobs as a backup a destruction fee is applicable and is based on the the amount of
    data/images we hold. A quote will be supplied if you wish us to keep storing or destroy any data

 

We will only use your data and contact details when purchasing a service or goods from our website or Facebook. This will be used to provide you with the services we offer. If you reply or comment via email or Facebook we will only use this information for the intended purpose of fulfilling this service. By liking or sharing our pages you have agreed to see artuscreative or Scott Artus news feeds, offers and information.

We really are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to secure and safeguard information we collect online.

We do not store credit card details and we do not share customer details with any 3rd parties.
