Storing of images/illustrations/photographs and designs

As a freelance creative I assume that when you commission me to design/illustrate/write/photograph that in doing business you expect the following of my service:

  • To store your images/designs information on my back-up system securely

  • To contact you by phone and email or social media with information requests

  • I need to hold your invoice details for 7 years for UK tax reasons

  • Your images and emails are stored on the iCloud with Apple Inc.

  • Images/illustrations/designs and work I do for you are stored on a secure hard drive and backup media such as DVD disks for archive purposes and for retrieval of future jobs you may commission

  • When taking photographs at events and weddings and school events I store your jobs on disk and hard drive, if you no longer wish me to do this you will be given a disk of images. I will then destroy all data and you will not have a backup

  • I assume as a photographer you have given permission and the persons in the images are happy for me to photograph
and use your photographs for said purpose

  • Only the copyright owner WS Artus will have access to your jobs and images

  • As the copyright owner I have the right to use said images and work for promotion purposes and print and marketing media

  • If you do not wish us to store your jobs as a backup a destruction fee is applicable and is based on the the amount of
data/images we hold. A quote will be supplied if you wish us to keep storing or destroy any data
